Surprises suck. *I clench my fist and Lightning forms and breaks the glass with Sadira's juice in it* See, *I hand her the money for another one* Get my point?

I glare at Aeon, but there's no malice in it. I take the money and slide it across the bartender as he cleans up the mess and gets me another drink. "So unnecessary. And so what? Surprises are just like everything else. They have the possibility of bein bad, but either way, some surprise is better than none. I mean, where's the thrill in seeing everything coming?"

Unnecessary, Exactly how I feel about surprises. *A small sphere of Lightning form on my index finger. I start to spin it around* That is the thrill, to see everything coming. *I continue spinning the sphere as it starts to glow* You know what is coming, you have the choice to decide how to act. If you want whatever is to happen to happen, or if you want to change it.

Even if you can see the future,you can chose to ignore it so that the surprise still exists, although you have an idea of it so that you can act accordingly either way.

Wait...does that make sense?

Even if you ignore it, you know it will happen...therefore the surprise factor dies. Well that's how I feel anyway.

"I suppose, but~," I down my new glass of juice and look at him grinning behind my mask, "Life ain't gonna always tell you what to expect so might as well roll with the punches and enjoy the random things that happen~." I play with the end of my braid as my tail whips slowly against the seat.

That's why life's a bitch. *I stand up and place enough money for 3 drinks on the table. I grab the spinning orb and clench my fist. Once more your glass of juice is covered in Lightning and break* ...Surprise. Sucks doesn't it. *I leave the tavern*

I sigh at the broken glass on the counter and watch him leave. The bartender grumbles some profanities and moves to get another glass. I shake my hand and he happily goes to do something else. I lean my head on the counter and huff.

*I walk in and I sit down* *Thinks* Nobody is here... I guess everyone is still sleeping.

*I walk into the tavern after last night. I notice Riza* I didn't expect to see anyone here this early.

I just got bored of wondering around the village after everyone left the tavern, so I just came back in to get a drink... and also it is dark in here, so it is the perfect spot for me until I get a home.

Living in the tavern? That reminds me of an old friend. So you like the dark huh?

I'm a vampire... Although I'm one of those rare vampires that can go out both day and night... I prefer the night... So yes I love the darkness.

That makes sense...

I just need to find a home. That is what I do when everyone else is sleeping.

Take my house, besides the Lab..I don't use my house anymore.

As with me, If I have my lab I'll be content. Since the Lab is in the basement, I'll be out of your way. So the house is all yours.

I walk into the tavern, my eyes narrowed and no longer gleaming with their usual enthusiasm. I stalk pass the counter, from which the bartender stares at me in shock. My head is light, no longer feeling the weight of my braid swinging against my back. I run a hand through the back of my short hair as I sit down at a table in the back. I revel in the silence and pull a strawberry ramune from my bag before popping the marble inside. I lift up my mask enough to slip the bottle under it and down half of it with one drink.

*Walks in* Good Afternoon, Sadi!

I toss Riza a look and set down my bottle. "Hello Riza..." My voice is low and strained, but it somehow remains polite and welcoming.
