Deidara is my fav akatsuki and my fav character in naruto, the male one at least. my female fav is hinata. but no one has confirmed his death yet, if they did then it would be like shisune, who they said was dead on the spot. XP their stalling to much with kakashi for him to be dead, besides, it would be dumb if he died. he would be the FIRST NINJA IN NARUTO DO DIE BECAUSE OF CHAKRA LOSS!!!! that I say is bullshit.

I agree with Fubu... but I think if Hinatas dead she never redeemed herself for being useless in the begining, unlike Sakura.

Pain, to me if he loses its because they find his real body and while they fight him he can't concentrate on naruto. if one member of akatsuki can whoop a 5 tailed beast, I'm pretty sure their leader can pwn a six.

don't underestimate 6. Orochi did the same with 4 and had to fight for his life. Pain's power might go to his head

Im just stating facts here. Kisame single handedly beat the 4 tailed, and somewhere along the line the 5, 6, and 7 tails were beaten as well. if they hold power to beat up to a 7th tailed, then pain, the elader of akatsuki with plenty of hidden abilities, can beat a six tailed. might not be easy, but he will.

Also the power between each tailed beast is different. Who knows, 8 tailed Naruto may be twice as stron as the 8 tails.

if naruto goes 8 tails then its over for him. I'm sure pain knows what he is doing, but I also didn't expect pain to be some....shriveled up guy. XP I was always thinking " if the pain body dopplegangers are this strong, then nagato must be insanely powerful" but it turns out hes a fragile man. but something tells me he can still fight somewhat...

i think the power between a real 6 tail and 6 tail naruto is unequal and uncomparable. not the same level at all. Thats around 66% of Kyuubi's power, which is 3 times stronger than 6 tail at 100%. You can see where I'm going with this...not to mention if it turns into a Jyuubi

Either way the Nine tailed beast as a whole was defeated by a kage, and akatsuki ninja are just about a kage rank. Pain killed the jariya, who trained the 4th, who then sealed the beast. Make the connection and bam, Pain wins.

That doesnt mean the 4th wasnt stronger or smarter than Jiraiya. And Narutos killed all but one of the 6 Pains, without Kyuubi. and Jiriaya didnt even get that far.
