Meditation..

Lucius walked out of his room, back into the courtyard of Castle Hellgate. He was still looking for answers in his abilities, what he could still do with them. It still all seemed.. unbalanced. He formed another ball of Negation energy in his hand, observing how it flowed. Twisted, energetic, evil-looking... as expected from Light-enhanced Dark energy. But what about the other way around; Dark-enhanced Light energy? Why had he still not found what this was yet? He sighed and began meditating, seeing if the answer would be locked away within him, as Negation was..

*Bloom was outside the courtyard for some reason. Did she want to see Lucius? Or maybe it was something else...But Bloom continued to wait what ever the case, hoping that Lucius would sense her chakra.*

Lucius felt that familiar warm presence the instant it came into the field's range. "..damn." He opened his eyes and stood, now looking up. "You may stop hiding now.."

*Bloom reveals herself from the shadows outside the Courtyard.*
"It's been a while, Lucius."
*The moment was a bit akward, but Bloom had good intentions, even with seeming a little different now. She walked toward Lucius while dark chakra seeped from her body.*
"It seems, you've made yourself into such a trusted ninja now."

"..indeed it has." He began pacing the field, slowly, now detecting the oddities of Bloom's chakra signature, and he stopped. His eyes opened and he looked at Bloom with a frightened look. "Your.. signature. It's different.."

*Bloom gave a slight smile. She knew he would be able to tell, since he was so familar with her old presence.*
"Why yes...it is."
*She watched Lucius pace the field before gazing up into the sky.*
"Alot has happened since we last met. I feel that your energy has also become more...negative."

He gave a sigh, realizing that Bloom was now forever changed.. he had very mixed feelings about this too; he knew what she had now was darkness. a stark contrast to her previous signature.

"Negation's been heavily overused lately.. You could say I've been searching for my... other half lately." He moved towards her, unsure of why or what to do afterwards.

"Oh? So you have another half huh?"
*Bloom walked closer to Lucius, further examining him and his chakra.*
"My spirit is halved too. Only one..is darkness. It's a long story..."
*Bloom felt Lucius' chakra being more devastating than before, but for some reason, still under control.*

"Mm.." With that he shut off the flow to all dark chakra channels, allowing only light to flow through his body. His hair was slightly lighter black, and his eyes more pale. He opened a palm and a white and blue orb appeared in it. "The problem is, I can't seem to make it top Negation.. not yet anyway."

*Bloom gave a serious expression and looked at Lucius. It was similar to how she obtained dark energy, only he wanted Light.*
"Don't come to terms with your Negatation, or else your light will never be pure. Dark energy always aims for the top in the soul, and since your soul is more accustomed to darkness than light, it will be harder for your light energy to surface up above it."
*Bloom held out one hand and an orb of darkness formed in it.*
"How strong is your light?"

"Bloom, it's not like that." He dissipated the orb of light and opened up his dark channels once again. "..observe."

He made two spheres in the air above him, one of pure darkness, and a smaller one of pure light. He merged them together, forming the familiar red Negation energy in front of them both. "..that's the true nature of my energy.. Light and Darkness exist in harmony. And yet.." He now formed a large sphere of pure Light, and another smaller one of darkness. "This second fusion has been hiding itself from me for quite some time.."

*Bloom gazed up at the two orbs of incredible power. She now undersood what Lucius meant, but she gave a slight sigh in disappointment.*
"Don't blame the power, blame the user."
*Bloom walked behind Lucius and charged her hand with plasma for some reason that is not explained yet.*
"I want you to learn this new fusion of yours. I would love to see what it can do, so I will wait here..,"
*Bloom winked and smirked at Lucius.*
"Until you complete it. I'm here for help as well."

As he dissipated the orbs of energy in the air above him, Lucius winced. He couldn't allow himself to fall victim to meaningless, intense emotions anymore.. not until he'd gained complete independence from the Demonic Negation.

He gave a nod, and closed his eyes, deeply meditating. He closed off all darkness ports once again, just getting a full taste of his light energy. Eventually he involuntarily shifted into his Light form, only his hood was at his back. It was now that he opened his eyes, fully engulfed in pure light energy, preparing for his next phase..

*As Lucius went into his Light form, Bloom stood in amazement.*
"Wow, it seems you have more to you than I thought. I hope it's enough."
*Bloom continued to watch, waiting to be of assistance if neccasary.*

As Lucius opened up the smallest pore of dark energy now, he felt completely different. His aura began giving off a dark blue glow, and his energy was shifting to that of a higher form. The small amounts of dark energy merged with the encompassing light, forming something new.. The energy around him gave a pulse of light blue, and all seemed to be going well.

Then the energy became a dark purple shade, changing itself dramatically again. Then it glowed lighter purple, then maroon.. finally it was a bloody color, feeling exactly like.. Negation. All that work, meditation, concentration... he even used just a pinch of darkness.. why did it become that cursed form? Lucius groaned as he shut off all chakra points and slumped to the ground..

*Bloom walked over to Lucius and crouched down to the ground next to him.*
"I see...your Negatation is powerful, powerful to even take over such a large amount of light energy. Do you think this might be because of your light energy not being strong enough to match the Negatation?"
*Bloom noticed him not talking, so she nuhged him a little.*
"It's okay,, if it wasn't so hard then it wouldn't be worth al this meditating now would it?"

"..I have equal amounts of Dark and Light.. Negation is easy to form with these two elements.. why is its second form so difficult? If darkness is truely only 50% of my energy, then why is so much of what I use centered around it?" He shook his head, wanting answers that simply couldn't be asnwered. "Bloom.. how did you obtain this darkness of yours..?"

*Bloom closed her eyes to bring back the memories of the time.*
"I overcame it with the purities in my soul. I split my soul in two, separating mine from Kuiin's, the negative spirit. By taking out the source of the negativity, I was able to use all my light energy to control what darkness was already in my body. After my body became used to the amount of dark energy I had in me, it was then able to control a greater amount of dark energy better than before. Kuiin's dark energy is great, and since my body had become accustomed to large amounts of dark energy before, I was ready to control Kuiin and her abilities without much draw back."
*Bloom's eyes widen as she had thought of a very nice idea.*
"Maybe you don't have to use negative energy at all."

"..Maybe..." He rose again, eyes still closed. He tried to imagine what the opposite of Negation would feel like.. he had a hard time of doing it too. "For every force there is an equal and opposite counter-force.."

He opened his eyes now, glowing a determined yellow. He held out his right arm as blue, misty energy swirled around it. This was different than before... "I hold both these forces and their opposites.."

He closed his eyes and turned his head upward, embracing the new energy that seemed to be coming to him, at long last. He didn't try degrading it to see what it was this time; that had failed all other times. "I am the definition of an impossibility."

He seized full control over the new energy that washed over him, and he glowed a radiant blue color, briefly. As it cleared, Lucius's appearence had once again changed. His hair was light blue, and his clothing had become like armor in itself. He sported only a single blue wing on his back. He seemed calm and collected, blue energy flowing all around him.

"This is.. Absolution."

(lol really lu.. i mean really)

(What..? xD, I mean, the guy's actual picture looks nothing like Lucius at all, so...)

*Bloom stands up in awe and excitement. She gives a smirk as she looks at Lucius' new form.*
"Congradulations, Your more capable of these things then I thought...."
*Bloom was happy that Lucius was able to have an epiphany and master a new form, but this made her feel more...outclassed. With her power, she felt weaker than most ninja, especially Lucius. Without another word Bloom took her leave, knowing that she had alot of catching up to do.*
"I'll see you around Lucius. Take care of your new power...."

"Wait, stay a bit.." His voice was softer, more sincere now. Was it the new form? Either way, he also smiled, something he didn't do very often at all. "Why don't we help each other out.. train with each other a bit?"

*Bloom stopped in her tracks as she heard Lucius. She did have to test her dark abilities, since they are very underused.*
"I'll stay for a while..."
*Bloom turned to Lucius and stuck out her tougue.*
"Only because your so honest>"
*Bloom gripped Bliss's handle, then she began pulsing dark energy into the sword.*
"So what are the rules for this training?"

Lucius chuckled a bit. "Well, I suppose the rules would be simply to use some techniques on each other with both of our new elements.. and you're free to ask me anything about darkness along the way." Lucius reached for a blade at his belt, but realized that this new form of his was still unstable and untested.. the slightest inbalance could send it straight back to Negation. So he carefully unequipped both the Solar Edge and Umbra, choosing to instead test his Absolution powers more intensely. "Also, no tears and no holding back this time." He smirked. "At your ready.."
