The Return of the Diviner

*Hyo warps my body into the cathedral, right at the altar. my body is scarred and scratched from the training with Skye, but a large X is still lashed across my chest from my battle with Scizor. by now, my clothes are almost completely totaled*

Hyo: It's past time to help him out people.

*Hyo releases control of my body and i fall to my knees*

Hyo... I'm not sure how to beat him. I've played it through time and time again, but I don't know how we could beat him.

Hyo: Beat him at his own game. Use his strength against him.

How?

Hyo: Leave that to me. Take the Reversing Mirror out of your hat. That and the Sands of Time and the Ying Yang Yo Yo. I think that would work.

Alright...

*Hyo calls the Dodecagram below me as i pull the items from my hat. i decide to lay them on the ground in front of me since i can't hold them at all the same time*

Hyo: Now, it's time to reintroduce you to the power of the Venkage Clan.

*the Dodecagram glows as Aqua, Aera, Elektra, Solara, Oblivion, and Luna all appear at the edges of the Dodecagram, with their heads dropped*

Hyo, what the hell is this?

Hyo: This is your awakening. You have forgotten where your true strength lies. You must remember...

*one by one, the surrounding sages open their eyes and call to their hands their respective weapons: Aqua, a ball and chain, Aera, a battle fan, Elektra, a chain blade, Solara, a Guan Do, Oblivion, a large scythe, and Luna a lance*

What do they plan to do? I mean, what could they possibly do that I haven't already done?

Hyo: Take out Epiphany and cut through the artifacts. Release their chakra and become them. They will seal the powers within you.

Why did it take so long for you to tell me I could do this?

Luna: You never asked.

*my eyes widen as i hear Luna's voice*

Really? You're finally talking to me?

Luna: Not exactly. If you die, then we die. I would rather be half alive and in your mind than completely dead.

*Luna smiles slightly as she looks right at me. i stare for a moment before becoming more determined than ever to become stronger. i then pull Epiphany from my hat and take a deep breath*

Heh... Here we go.

*i turn Epiphany to its chakra state and it pulses with my heartbeat, each one stronger than the last. Hyo's vision appears behind me, connected with my movements and the golden blade, Sora in his hands, movements completely synchronized with mine. i hold Epiphany to the side first, as does Hyo and Sora. then we slash through the Sands of Time, the Ying Yang Yo Yo, and the Reversing Mirror, sending their chakra through the Dodecagram, dousing it in their power*

Hyo: *speaks in the ancient tongue of dragons, chanting a powerful ritual*

*after Hyo finishes, my eyes glow a bright white and i enter a trance like state. my body lifts off the ground and is suspended, paralyzed in midair. the sages around me all take one step forward and ready their weapons. they raise them towards the sky, then point them at my body. the chakra from the artifacts swirl around me wildly, glowing a shimmering blue. then they swing their weapons, striking me all at once. Hyo also stabs Sora completely through me. in a brilliant flash of light, the six sky chakras fly from the sages, around the Dodecagram and into me as does the chakra from the artifacts. the six beasts emerge from the Dodecagram, clouded in immense light and feed their chakra into me. at the core of the light, i am bathed in the chakras, absorbing them into my being, becoming stronger with every passing second*

Hyo: *finishes chanting and roars*

*Hyo takes the sword from my body and all the light condenses into me along with the sages. my eyes take on an eerie glow before turning back to their original color. i float back to the ground and stand with my eyes closed, breathing deeply*

Hyo... That... Was invigorating...

Hyo: Yes, and now you can truly begin to experience the power of the Venkage Clan. Draw from the Sun and moons. Use your new strengths wisely.

Yes Hyozanryu...

*Hyo fades back into my body and i open my eyes completely with new found resolve*
