You've just watched Aeon's obsession towards Persona 4 and the summons that you can obtain within the game, silly Kumiko. =p Along with what some of the action that comes along with the game as well XD

I know hes obsessed with Persona 4, but I know nothing about the game itself...

Well those are the Personas.
Basically the cards used to grant extra powers.

If you think of it like this it's a bit easier. Persona are kinda like Pokemon

Even though I'd just started getting into the Shin Megami Tensei series, it's a bit more confusing for me to explain since I'm still trying to understand it myself.

Ok so there are cards that summon these things called Personas and they are all those bizarre beings in the vid? Then whats the point of the game? To get them all like Pokemon?

Those are a lot of Persona...

No Zeik I refuse to make a Pokerap with 400 some little critters!

and no the point of the game isn't to collect them all, in fact I hate alot of them.
But I have to go into a bit of detail.

USUALLY a person gets 1 Persona when they face themselve. It has an allignment to one of the Tarrot cards. ((Magician, Justice, Empress bleh bleh bleh)).
But the Main Character has the Fool Arcana which allows him to dip into the other categories for Persona.

Yeah, those are alot of Persona's.
Some you'll have to do a fusion of two or three Personas to make a stronger and newer one.
Thats how it is for the online version and the very 1st version that I've played about the series so far.

I'm still trying to learn more and understand about the series so I don't know too much about it yet.

Also I used to have a few of the personas back on the online game before they deleted most of the accounts on there.

Sometimes even 5 and 6. It takes 10 to get Izanagi Okami.
The Persona series isn't a continuation like the Digital Devil Saga is or the Devil Summoner series. So you really don't have to get them. Although I will get the Persona 1 remake for the PSP

Still lost but whatever its probably going to end up being one of those things where I have to play it to understand....
