So explain to my non-computer nerd brain... You can pic the characters and not the weapons? So then how does a character get the weapon in the first place?

It's an rpg.. so you buy weapons at the store and add them to your equip list and it makes you stronger. but I am not so advanced that it will show the weapon change on your battler lol

But you said that the spear came with the character, so then you wouldnt buy new weaps, youd just get one. And if you could then it wouldnt matter if one character had something slightly different or not. Right? Do I make any sense or do I have no fudging idea what Im talking about?

A sprite is just an image it is holding a spear no matter what weapon you equip in the menu for it is just text that says you have the weapon on lol
